Our youth and families ministry is dedicated to reaching and discipling children and young adults.

Our evangelism team is our attempt to reach out to our local (and not-so-local) community to be a lighthouse for the Gospel through outreach and service projects.

Our
ministries

Our various ministries are the groups that act as the hands and feet of the body of Christ.

global

As a church body, we are actively involved in sending our workers to the field in short term missions, as well as supporting Bible colleges, children's homes, and other parachurch organizations within the United States.

We also partner with long-term missionaries and evangelistic efforts across the globe. 18% of our annual budget (and offerings from several of our adult education classes) is dedicated to this vital area of ministry.

church community

Our church community ministry is composed of a few teams that concentrate on ministering to our church family. The fellowship and caring team plans and supports various social events for the church and also serves as a conduit for recommending assistance and aid to members and others. Adult education is charged with creating opportunities for personal spiritual development and discipleship.

preschool

The HCC Preschool Program is an extension of the ministry to families by Huntsville Christian Church. To effectively work toward the common purpose of fulfilling the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20), we will:

  • Provide a nurturing, developmentally appropriate environment that encourages each child to develop mentally, physically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally.
  • Provide ministry to families.
  • Provide a witness of Christ and His Church to the children’s families.

In order to achieve these goals, we commit to provide:

  • A quality weekday early education program built on developmentally appropriate practices and committed to excellence in every aspect.
  • Curriculum that is biblically based and includes Bible stories and thoughts appropriate to the child’s level of understanding.
  • A staff that professes Christ as Savior and exhibits Christian traits in caring for children and in interaction with families, co-workers and the community.
  • Positive guidance for children that encourages problem-solving and managing negative emotions.
  • Respect and understanding to others without regard to race, gender, nationality, or background.
  • Planned small and large-group activities that permit each child to progress and enjoy success.

Our program is a four hour program, offering classes for ages 2-4 and kindergarten. We are open from August 13 until May 14. Our operating hours are 9:00-1:00. If you have any questions, please feel free to call.
